JUNÍN

The journey is often just as beautiful as the destination, and our first trip to Junín was an example of this. On the way we skirt part of the mountain range that connects Lima with Junín, passing through Canta, small towns and large snow-capped mountains in the area. The goal? Disconnect from the city to connect with us.

A SPIRITUAL ADVENTURE SURROUNDED BY GREAT VALLEYS

Perhaps the biggest anecdote of the entire trip was the sudden changes in weather that took us by surprise. Going from heat to extreme cold and with our first hailstorm was something totally crazy, even more so if this change happens in less than 10 minutes.

Junín is a beautiful place with many valleys that we still have to explore.

Pampachiri

We took advantage of a forced vacation to do the first roadtrip by car, and from Cusco. our goal: to reach the stone forest of pampachiri, andahuaylas. The best thing about traveling by car is that you can enjoy each stop, like the one we made in Curahuasi to get to the Cconoc hot springs.

the route: lima-cusco-abancay-andahuaylas-pampachiri

The journey, which took several hours of travel and walking, was totally worth it.

Piura

Arriving in Narihualá not only meant meeting its inhabitants, but also their strength and desire to move on after the last coastal child who devastated everything in his path.

The goal: meet the artisans of Narihualá, Catacaos.

Between toquilla straw branches, dyes, wooden molds and long conversations about our trip, we began to work on the collection together with Mrs. Aydeé, with whom we continue to work.

PARACAS CHINCHA

HAVE YOU EVER TRAVELED BY MOTORCYCLE? WELL, WE TOOK ADVANTAGE OF A LONG HOLIDAY TO HAVE OUR FIRST TRIP AWAY FROM LIMA. THE ROUTE: CHINCHA ALTA, EL CARMEN AND PARACAS.

TRAVEL ON A MOTORCYCLE TO FEEL FREE

THE TRIP WAS NOT COMPLICATED BECAUSE YOU ONLY FOLLOW THE WHOLE PANAMERICANA SUR, BUT WHAT REALLY MADE THE CROSSING DIFFICULT WAS THE COLD AND FOG IN CERTAIN PLACES. WHEN WE ARRIVED IN EL CARMEN, THE SUN BEGAN TO RISE WITH ENOUGH FORCE AND AS WE APPROACHED THE COAST THE WIND REFRESHED US MORE AND MORE.

CUSCO

WE STAYED MORE THAN 2 WEEKS IN CUSCO, ENOUGH TIME TO EXPERIENCE NEW THINGS, GO THROUGH SEVERAL TOWNS AND GET A NEW TYPE OF CLOTH FOR OUR HATS.

AN SPIRITUAL AND INTROSPECTIVE JOURNEY

OUR GOALS IN THE TRIPS THAT WE DO IS TO BE ABLE TO CONNECT WITH PERUVIAN ARTISANS, WITH NEW MATERIALS AND TO OFFER OUR CLIENTS THE BEST MATERIAL THAT OUR COUNTRY HAS. NOTHING BETTER THAN KNOWING THAT THE PLACE THAT SAW YOU BORN HAS AN INFINITY OF MATERIALS THAT FILL US WITH PRIDE.

AYACUCHO

WE MADE A 2-DAY STOP TO CONNECT WITH THE CITY OF OUR MATERNAL GRANDFATHER AND EXPLORE ITS FIELDS, FIND NEW HATS AND ARTISANS.

WE ALWAYS WANTED TO VISIT AYACUCHO, IT WAS SOMETHING WE WANTED TO FULFILL YES OR YES.
O SÍ.

WE VISITED AYACUCHO AFTER VISITING CUSCO FOR 2 WEEKS, ALTHOUGH WE WERE NOT THERE FOR A LONG TIME, WE VISITED OUR FAMILY, WE FOUND MATERIALS FOR THE HATS AND WE VISITED SOME OF THEIR ATTRACTIONS.

LAMAS

THREE YEARS AGO WE TRAVELED FOR THE FIRST TIME TO LAMAS, TARAPOTO, TO REDISCOVER OUR PATERNAL FAMILY AND LIVE THE FEAST OF THE PATRON SAINT OF SANTA CRUZ DE LOS MOTILONES.

GOOD ENERGY, EXCELLENT FOOD AND BEAUTIFUL LANDSCAPES. WE ALREADY WANT TO RETURN!

FROM THE FIRST MOMENT WE STEPPED ON LAMAS, THE PATRON SAINT'S HOLIDAY WAS ALREADY FELT. THE HUBBUB OF THE PEOPLE WAS ON EVERY CORNER. WE WERE A BIT ANXIOUS TO EXPERIENCE THE "GANGS" BECAUSE THEY TOLD US THAT THE TOUR WAS AROUND THE TOWN AND WE THOUGHT WE WOULD NOT RESIST, BUT THE OPPOSITE HAPPENED. ALTHOUGH IT WAS A 100% FAMILY TRIP, WE DID NOT MISS THE OPPORTUNITY TO MEET THE WAYKU ARTISANS AND THE NATURAL MATERIALS WITH WHICH THEY WORK. DEFINITELY OUR DEAR LAMAS IS A PLACE WORTH KNOWING.
